6 Steps to Ranking YouTube Videos

Step 1:

It all starts before you even upload your Video, You are going to have to change the name of the Video on your computer. You are going to what to rename it to the Keyword or Keywords you are trying to rank the Video for.

This will make a big difference in your ranking.

Step 2: Title, Description

When it comes to your Title you are going to want to make sure you have you Keywords in there, I prefer to have it in there twice if possible.

Then for your description I like to start out with the URL that I want people to go to followed by a 500 word description.

I will make sure my keyword is scatter throughout the description 5-10 times.

Step 3; Tags Categories & Advance settings

With Tags most people will put a lot of tags in. But I fine just using 1 tag works just fine, as long as it is your keyword.

When choosing a category I fine News & Politics to work the best.

And under advance settings you are going to want to put in the date you upload the video as your record date.

Step 4: Pinging Your Video

You are going to have to ping your Video so that the search engines can find it quickly. I use free services link bulkping.com & pingler.com.

There are other service you can use also, just do a search but these 2 do just fine for me.

Step 5:Getting Views, Comments & Likes

Best way to get YouTube & Google to know that you Video is good is get a lot of views, comments & likes.

The quickest way to get Real People (not Robots) to do this is by using vagex.com.

They offer a free service you can sign up for. YouTube knows that Videos can get a lot of views very quickly and are not alarmed when yours does, it makes them think that viewers are finding it interestin

g so they move it up in the searches.

Step 6: Getting Backlinks To Your Video

The easiest way to do this is just go over to Fiverr.com and search “backlinks”. You will get a long list of poeple who will build backlinks to Video for $5.

Just make sure that you hit the Ratings tab to see which ones are the best ones.
